48 Hour Update

At 3pm today we hit the 48 hours at sea mark. Everything is going well onboard. It is still much cooler than we would like, but we know warm weather is ahead!

We have covered 357 nautical miles in 48 hours, about a 7.5 knot average speed, which is pretty good.

This evening we were greeted with some rain and very gusty winds, up to 28 knots. We are hand steering right now instead of using the autopilot to better control the boat. Not much sea life but we have enjoyed watching same amazing birds fly around the boat. Crazy they are 350 miles out to sea!
